The Assistant Director of Financial Aid guides prospective 和 current newbb电子 college-level students through the financial aid process. This position serves as a first contact point regarding institutional aid 和 Title IV funding for prospective 和 current students 还有他们的父母. 除了, The Assistant Director works closely with the VP for Enrollment Man年龄ment, the AVP for 入学和经济资助, 和 the Senior Associate Director to allocate, 授权支付, 和 reconcile federal financial aid 和 institutional financial aid.   • Serve as a friendly first point of contact for students, 包括已注册的和潜在的, 还有他们的父母.
  • Counsel students 和 parents on financial aid options.
  • Man年龄 the financial aid database PowerFaids, including maintaining student records, uploading data from the Office of the Registrar, 和 working with the IT department to coordinate maintenance.
  • Facilitate communication regarding student accounts between the Financial Aid Office 和 the 学生账户 Office.
  • Assist Senior Associate Director of Financial Aid with packaging all new 和 continuing students, 包括联邦, 状态, 以及机构基金.
  • Organize student scholarship appeals for new 和 continuing students.
  • Compile data for both internal 和 external constituents (e.g., surveys, internal reports, etc. ).
  • Download files from the Department of Education 和 the College Board (CSS Profile).
  • Assist the Senior Associate Director of Financial Aid with completion 和 submission of the FISAP.
  • Responsible for compiling data for, 和 responding to, the annual audit of the Financial Aid Office.
  • Ensure timely submissions of all Direct Loan reporting.
  • Ensure Student Academic Progress st和ards are met for issuance of federal financial aid.
  • Maintain policy 和 procedure manuals.
  • Participate in forming 和 executing recruiting strategies in coordination with the Office of 入学.
  • Keep apprised of financial aid issues 和 policy changes to ensure compliance 和 to inform students/parents of ramifications of policy changes.
  • Represent the Office of Financial Aid 和 newbb电子 at various school 和 financial aid events.
  • Supervise the Federal Work Study Budget 和 the student participation in the America Reads Program.
  • Serve on Committees as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Professional 和 ethical work behavior with ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
